We told Trudi we were having a Trip Planning Meeting, but we weren’t. She walked in to Jane’s house with a plate of shrimp and cocktail sauce. And then we hugged her and screamed, “Happy Birthday!”
We donned disrespecful stickers and placed a tiara on her head.
The shrimp were left for Jane’s husband. And Trudi’s dear friend Lynn joined us as we piled in cars…

OH YES!
The reservation was for all six of the sixtahs, but somehow when we arrived the reservation had been lost.
This gal stepped in and before long Patty and Trudi were indeed on the list! That’s more of that darn trail magic we experienced on Route 66. We named her “Birthday Savior!” Please say hi for us if you head up to iFLY in Tampa…
But first we celebrated TRUDI with gifts appropriate for a gal who clocks in at 60mph these days…
and then our gals suited up!
Trudi and Patty credit much of their early sky diving success to this handsome guy named Daniel.
